Chip & Pin
No, it’s not one of those irritating American cartoons that the
kids will insist on watching at full volume when you’re trying to have a
lie-in at the weekend!

William Bookit
Senior Partner
William Bookit, generally known as Bill since it’s one of his favourite
words, was born in Trinidad, Malta, Zanzibar or Solihull, depending on which of
his many passports he is using. He was educated at Oxford and Harvard before
taking his articles with a major firm that sadly collapsed in one of the
twentieth century’s most celebrated financial scandals, almost
immediately after his departure.
Well known in the Stratford business community for his strong convictions, and
an even greater number of implausible acquittals, Bill joined the firm in 1990
and became senior partner in 1995.
His broad audit and management accounting experience is coupled with legendary
creativity and a keen sense of humour, particularly when it comes to drawing up
invoices.
Bill’s leisure interests include shooting, collecting firearms and gold
bullion, dancing, fine wine and recreational drugs. He is unmarried.

Charles
chargem
Junior Partner
Charles Chargem was born in Stratford in 1988 and was educated at Archbishop
Laud’s Special Needs Primary School and the Queen of Hearts
Comprehensive, where he recently obtained GCSE passes in Art, Metalwork, Home
Economics, General Studies, Comparative Religion and Mathematics For Beginners.
He has had a keen interest in double entry bookkeeping since the age of five
and has always wanted to be an accountant. His ambition is to be chartered by
the age of 30, though his head teacher believes that he is much more likely to
be certified before he turns 18.
Charles met Bill Bookit in 1999 through his evening work as a courier for a
local drug dealer, and was immediately invited to join the firm as Junior
Partner simply to give it the world’s most perfect name for an
accountancy practice.
Charles Chargem’s extra-curricular interests include running,
particularly away from policemen and financial regulators, swan upping and
arson.
